This week we are learning to understand what being in the right place at the right time means. We are also coming up with some tips to help us stay in the right place at the right time.

This is the animation I worked on today.

My reading task

This is a letter I wrote to the council about some windmills going in to the property next door.

Dear Council,

Kia Ora, my name isToni Hawea. I am writing a letter to you because I heard that you’re letting my neighbour         
get windmills in front of my land . Windmills are dangerous and I disagree with you for getting windmills here’s why. 

These hideous statues make too much racket like a vacuum cleaner never stopping or like a bee buzzing around you making you get dizzy, I won’t get sleep and will soon get irritated. Would you like to be up all night because of windmills or a sound like a vacuum cleaner?


I will be concerned for my family because  we won’t get any sleep and will be cranky in the morning when we wake up. My little siblings would have to play around those big ugly vault chores. Well I don’t understand if you want your siblings to play around them.

These are dangerous statues and will stop working in 25 years and could get destroyed and break into little pieces of melt then could be stood on and cut that persons foot and make them bleed and then have to get stitches.
